Thimpu
Paro - Thimpu ( 65Km/2hrs)
Thimpu is blessed with magical legends, breathtaking scenery, unspoiled land, uniquely crafted architecture and probably the gentlest people on earth.Visit King's Memorial Chorten ,Changangkha Monastery, National Zoo and Library, BBS Tower, Folk Heritage Museum, Textile Museum, School of Arts and Crafts.
Punakha
Punakha ( 80Km /3hrs from Thimpu). Blessed with temperate climate and owing to its natural rivers of Pho Chhu (male) and Mo Chhu (female) the Punakha valley produces abundant crops and fruits. There are splendid views of the distant Himalayas at Dochula pas (alt. 3,050m) on Thimphu - Punakha road. Visit the Punakha Dzong.
Paro

Taktshang Lhakhang (Tiger's Nest)
Taktshang Lhakhang (2Hrs Hike) Perched on the side of a cliff 900m above the Paro valley floor. It is said that Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated at this monastery and hence it is called "Tiger's Nest".
Phuentsholing
Phuentsholing (350Km /8 hrs from Guwahati and 170Km/5hrs from Bagdogra) The frontier town of Phuentsholing is a thriving commercial centre, situated directly at the base of Himalayan foothills. It is a fascinating place where different ethnic groups mingle prominently Indian, Bhutanese and Nepalese.
